Business in the Community has responded to requests from its members to organise an informative event focussing on Modern Slavery and Forced Labour. This breakfast event is designed to be enlightening to a wide range of sectors.

Speakers on the day, from a variety of Northern Ireland businesses, along with a representative from the Human Rights Commission, will give their perspectives on:

  • Legislative requirements of the Modern Slavery Act
  • Safeguarding your recruitment practices against breaches in human rights
  • Mitigating against the risk of forced labour issues in the supply chain
