Could you be our answer to Lord Sugar or Baroness Karren Brady?

We need volunteers to help at T:BUC Camps, a series of fun, cross-community camps for young people in the North West area. Developed as part of the Together: Building a United Community (T:BUC) Strategy, the camps are aimed at 17-25 year olds, who are not in education, training or employment.

The camps are about challenging historic positions, encouraging debate and discussion, and providing a way for young people to get to know each other, try new experiences, have fun, and build long-term relationships.

The camps last for nine days, and include a range of activities designed to promote team building, improve attitudes towards others, and engage young people in the community. The first camp begins on 11 September 2017, and we need business volunteers like you to help with various activities. Could you spare a few hours to help?

Activities include:

Helping teams create a social media plan
Help with a practical volunteering challenge (painting, clean-up or tree planting)
Supporting a team of young people to organise a charity fundraiser
Help teams to set-up a charity fundraiser event
Be part of out ‘Community Apprentice’ judging panel

To register as a volunteer for any of the activities listed above, please email john.oconnell@bitcni.org.uk, or call (028) 7186 1550.
