Packaging and Sustainability Manager, Coca-Cola HBC Ireland
Gillian Shields is Packaging and Sustainability Manager with Coca-Cola HBC Ireland and Northern Ireland. A strong advocate of product sustainability and the circular economy, in this role Gillian is responsible for the creation and delivery of the businesses ambitious sustainable packaging strategy, driving a renewed focus on the packaging lifecycle – from how bottles and cans are designed, made, recycled and repurposed.
Gillian joined the business in 2003 and has worked in various Community Affairs and Communications roles within Coca-Cola Hellenic.
A past Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, Gillian and has over 16 years’ experience in public relations, sustainability, communications, corporate affairs and social responsibility.
