Andy brings over 20 years of experience and knowledge in the field corporate environmental management gleaned firstly with AVX Limited, seeing them attain ISO 14001 back in 1999, before joining Translink in 2001.
Graduating from Dundee University with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management, one of the first dedicated environmental management undergraduate courses in the UK, Andy also has an MSc in Environmental Business Administration from the University of Ulster and an MBA from Queens University. He is a Full Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, and holds Chartered Environmentalist status.
With a strong passion for corporate responsibility Andy champions the Translink Corporate Responsibility Strategy and its 4 key strands of Go Safe, Go Together, Go Healthy and Go Eco. Over recent years Translink have developed and delivered a range of corporate responsibility projects and initiatives which has made them one of Northern Ireland’s leading businesses in this area.
Outside of work Andy is a keen cyclist and mountain-biker, a qualified on-road and off-road cycling instructor, and manages North Coast Trailquest, a mountain bike orienteering series held over the winter across the stunning North Coast.
