From the whole team at Downtown Radio and Cool FM’s Cash for Kids we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to all the Business in the Community member companies for your support during Cash for Kids ‘Mission Christmas 2017’.

We are absolutely delighted to tell you that this year a huge 11,076 local children were applied for through the appeal and every one of these children will now wake up to gifts on Christmas morning! The funds raised during Mission Christmas also meant that we were able to purchase gifts at cost price from suppliers, to ensure that we could continue to fulfill orders at a time when we had ran out of 9-18 and 0-3 age categories.

We were overwhelmed with applications throughout the appeal and in response to our on-air plea; everyone pulled out all the stops to help Cash for Kids make sure no child went without. There were more children in Northern Ireland in need of Mission Christmas in 2017 than ever before, and we couldn’t have done it without your support. Please pass on our thanks to all of your team for helping us to keep the Christmas dream alive for thousands of local children! On Monday morning when you’re enjoying your festivities pause for a second and have a little smile to yourself knowing you have changed someone’s world!!
