Six months ago, fifteen young people from businesses in Northern Ireland volunteered to be part of this pilot project – giving their time and using their skills to sit on the board of a community or voluntary organisation.

Young People on Board is an innovative and exciting programme designed to help young people (aged 18 – 30) take up leadership positions by matching them with a charitable or local community organisation in or with deprived communities, empowering them to make a positive impact and valuable contribution within their own communities.

This event celebrated the successes to date:

Our Business on Board programme aims to increase business representation on the boards and management committees of VCSE organisation which will undoubtedly strengthen the not-for-profit sector in Northern Ireland.  If this is of interest to you, please view our current list of opportunities and if you are interested in any of these, email Hilary.hanberry@bitcni.org.uk.

Alternatively, if you are part of a VCSE organisation and require new board members, please complete the form and email it to Hilary.hanberry@bitcni.org.uk
