Heron Bros supports ‘Dream and Little Dream’ book for children amid virus outbreak

Building, construction and property specialists Heron Bros is supporting relaxation book Dream a Little Dream that can assist in lowering children's anxiety at this uncertain time. 

The book, written by Sam Porciello, Place to Wonder, includes activities to create coping strategies and promotes emotional wellbeing for children aged five to ten years old.

The story follows the journey of Luna, a little girl who is stuck in a bad dream and has to find truly beautiful to wake up. Together, parent/carer and child help Luna to navigate her bad dream through a series of relaxation activities and tools that are used and approved by play therapists and practitioners.

This book was supported and funded by Heron Bros Social Enterprise Fund, the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, The National Lottery Community Fund and Arts Council of Northern Ireland as part of a Children’s Emotional Health and Wellbeing Programme, providing early intervention for children with low level anxiety across South Belfast.
