Triangle’s Charitable Giving Committee are delighted to donate £3000 to local charity - The NI Children to Lapland Trust.
The charity, set up in 2008, helps local terminally ill, long term ill and deserving children from Northern Ireland by taking them to Lapland and Euro Disney. The children are selected by local hospitals throughout the province and make the one-day trip to Lapland along with their family members, the necessary doctors, nurses and carers.
It takes in the region of £200,000 to fund the trips, to charter a plane, exclusively book the resort in Lapland (allowing the kids to enjoy the day to the max) and provide all food, drinks, rides and toys. Many of the families struggle financially, but the charity ensures it costs them nothing.
We are extremely proud of our association with the NI Children to Lapland Trust and of the tremendous work it does. The joy experienced by the children is absolute magic and unfortunately, for many of these children it’s the last trip they ever make.
Triangle’s Charitable Giving Committee was set up 10 years ago and to date has donated in the region of £120,000 to local charities.
