The company works with public, private and third sector clients delivering education, leisure, commercial, retail, industrial, health, pharmaceutical and community projects. What Heron Bros did

Heron Bros encourages all employees to take an active role within their communities. Employees are supported in their volunteering commitments in a range of activities including the Parkrun, STEM Ambassador, Cancer Fund for Children, Portbalin-TRI Charity Triathlon, and other sporting activities within their local communities.

Heron Bros has partnered with 71 stakeholders to deliver 154 engagement activities to build stronger communities and investing over £20,000 in sponsorship and donations, £36,000 in goodwill and Benefit in kind, 2,500 hours of volunteering and people resources.

Heron Bros worked in partnership with a Crookfur Primary school to develop and deliver a road safety campaign which coincided with Road Safety Week.

While delivering the Arthurlie Family Centre project, Heron Bros worked in partnership with the Auchenback community to deliver a Residents Garden Enhancement Scheme.

A partnership with Belfast City Council led to the development of a Construction Academy to tackle unemployment and the skills shortage in construction.
