Still Ready for Work: Support For Employment Workshops
The Still Ready for Work programme supports workers aged 50+ to remain in or return to work; helping them to have enough income, stay connected and enjoy a fuller working life.
As part of the programme We are running a number of FREE online Support For Employment Workshops to assist with getting people over 50 back in into work.
Individuals can sign up to one or all of the workshops which cover topics that can help you to seek out and secure the employment you want, including: CVs & Skills, Job Search & Applications; Interviews; Digital Skills; and more.
The workshops are delivered by professional trainers and will be lively and interactive. You are welcome to join in as much as you want, or just listen and learn. The workshops will give you hints, tips and insight into getting a job that is right for you. They will help you stay motivated, confident and connected as you prepare for your next steps into work.
The workshops will be delivered online via Zoom and are catered for people with all levels of IT literacy, once you have registered you will be sent more information via email, including link to join you chosen workshop/s.
You will need a tablet or PC with access to the internet.

This FREE online workshop on Thursday 4 March at 2pm will focus on selling yourself in interviews, common interview techniques, considering traditional in-person interviews and more modern online methods. Click here to sign up.

This FREE online workshop on Thursday 11 March at 2pm will focus on improving your digital skills, platforming yourself using social media to perspective employers, and effectively using social media to source employment opportunities. Click here to sign up.
