Conservation Officer, RSPB Northern Ireland

I am a Conservation Officer at RSPB Northern Ireland, working within the Policy and Advocacy team to bring nature to the top of the political agenda. In my free time, I am also the Early Careers and Membership Development Officer for Wild Belfast, a community group hoping to get people back in touch with nature in our city. I am really passionate about ecological recording, especially photographing and recording insects and marine wildlife.

In 2022/2023 I was part of the Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful 30 under 30 programme which really gave me the push that I needed to start running marine recording days with Wild Belfast, where we bring a diverse range of people down to our shores to see what fantastic creatures live in our seas. I’m also a passionate advocate for volunteering and I have gained so much throughout my career from my voluntary experiences with RSPB, Ulster Wildlife, Wild Belfast, Queen’s University and other organisations.
