Dr Andy Harris holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD from Queen’s University, Belfast for his research into the Life Cycle Cost and Carbon Footprint of Alternative Bus Fleets.
Over 8 years’ industrial experience in the public transport industry having worked for fleet operators, vehicle OEMs and research institutions.
Responsible for managing a highly-skilled, multidisciplinary Advanced Engineering team with a focus on developing best-in-field zero-emission vehicle modelling & simulation tools.
Responsible for managing the Wright Technology & Research Centre at Queen’s University, Belfast (W-Tech), ensuring that research outputs of PhD students and Postdoctoral Research Fellows meet the future needs of a zero-emission bus industry.
