After graduating in Law and Economics, Suzanne worked primarily in corporate banking in London. She was selected as the first Corporate Graduate to present an application to the Bank’s UK Credit Committee.

She then returned to Northern Ireland with the benefit of that experience to advance her legal career. Whilst studying for her Practising Certificate she represented Northern Ireland in Mediation Competitions and along with her team, secured second place at both national and international level.

Suzanne was called to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 2011. She specialises in Employment Law. Prior to joining her current Firm, she successfully grew and led an Employment Law Department for a Commercial Law firm in Belfast which involved implementing a strong marketing, management, and financial strategy.

Suzanne successfully completed the Advanced Advocacy Course with The Law Society of Northern Ireland and National Institute of Trial Advocacy (NITA), this gives her higher rights of audience in Courts and Tribunals. In 2017 she was selected as a finalist in the UK wide Inspirational Women in Law Awards, run by the First 100 Years Project, celebrating trailblazers in the profession.

Suzanne joined Cleaver Fulton Rankin as a Director in 2021, she specialises in advising businesses on all aspects of Employment Law. She also advises senior level employees on employment matters and exit arrangements. As an expert in her field, Suzanne is called upon to provide media commentary for the BBC on a multitude of topical employment law issues.
