We will then take a deep dive into the practical action that you can take to support the entire SDG Agenda through interactive breakout sessions focusing on themes such as sustainability reporting, going Net Zero, biodiversity and nature-based solutions, sustainable finance, implementing a Living Wage, and developing effective D&I strategies. A concluding panel will hear from local sustainability leaders and throughout the event there will be an opportunity for regional networking.

Since 2017, the UN Global Compact Network UK has travelled across the UK to connect sustainability practitioners, inspire action on the SDGs, and equip businesses with the knowledge and skills to effectively engage with Agenda 2030. This year is no different with 7 city stops throughout October to bring together hundreds of stakeholders to accelerate action on the SDGs. In the lead up to COP26, this regional event in Belfast will allow participants to dive into developing a whole systems approach to delivering the Global Goals and develop an understanding of how to lead local action for Agenda 2030.

The event is for free and is open to anyone in the area. The Roadshow will explore key themes such as Implementing a Living Wage, Going Net Zero, Integrating the SDGs, and Biodiversity & Nature-based Solutions to further drive the sustainability agenda. We are sure your members will be interested in joining these interactive sessions and local networking opportunities.
