Age NI enables older people to make the very best of their lives and works to create a society that truly values, supports and welcomes them. Our Vision is a society in which we can thrive as we age. Our Mission is to help people to enjoy later life.
You matter | We care | Together we can make a difference
Our society is ageing. More than 350,000 older people live in Northern Ireland, and there are more people over the age of 50 than under the age of 19. In the next twenty years, the number of people over 50 will increase by more than 30%.
We believe that people should be supported to love later life. They should have enough money; be enabled to stay well and feel good; and have the opportunity to be equal and engaged citizens. -

Business in the Community stands for responsible business. Set up in Northern Ireland in 1989, we now have more than 270+ members and are the largest business-led coalition dedicated to corporate responsibility.
We convene our member organisations across Northern Ireland, helping them to develop their responsibility towards their People, the Planet and the Places where they operate. This approach focuses on the way a company manages its business to make profits in a responsible way, having a positive impact on stakeholders, the environment and society.
Our role has evolved over the years in line with changes in society and the issues facing our members, but one thing that has remained constant is our belief that business can be a powerful force for good. We have always encouraged companies to engage individually to address their own business priorities in a responsible way, while at the same time using their skills and resources to benefit society and the environment by working together through collective business action. -

In 2019 Cancer Focus Northern Ireland celebrated 50 years working to reduce the impact of cancer on local people’s lives.
We provide care and support services for cancer patients and their families; offer a range of cancer prevention programmes to help people lessen their risk of getting cancer; fund scientific research into the causes and treatment of the disease and campaign for better health policy to protect our community and its future.
Most of our work is funded through donations and fundraising so we couldn’t do it without you. We know that 1 in every 2 of us is likely to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lives. We have seen strides made in cancer research into new and better treatments and strong promotion of the early signs and symptoms of cancer leading to earlier diagnosis.
Both of these activities have contributed to a much better prognosis for cancer patients in Northern Ireland with more people going on to live full lives after their treatment has ended.
Cancer Focus NI Health Improvement Team will be at Exhibit 4 to offer information on reducing the risk of cancer and raise awareness of early signs and symptoms. The Team members present today are:
Naomi Thompson | Health Improvement Manager
Doreen Regan | Skin Cancer Strategy Co-ordinator/Stop Smoking Service Co-ordinator
Bernie Neeson | Workplace Stop Smoking Service Co-ordinator -

Kith & Kin Financial Wellbeing was established in 2015. Our aim then is the same as it is today – to making Financial Advice & Support accessible, and secure the Kith & Kin of families all across the United Kingdom. With banks closing local branches it was clear that if people in the community needed to receive financial help and advice, their options were limited to using Commercial Financial Advisors.
At Kith & Kin, we aim to ensure employers are fulfilling their duty of care, going beyond simple financial reward, and prioritising financial wellbeing. By offering a range of services to employers, we can reach a wide number of individuals across our communities, and challenge the impact of financial stress, poor cash management & poverty.
Moreover, as a registered Social Enterprise, our impact goes beyond challenging Financial Stress. Our profit is reinvested into the business, and used then to create Social Value in the community. We use our profits to deliver programmes to schools, young people & community groups, ensuring those who need financial advice the most are able to access it.
Join us on our mission to secure the Kith & Kin of this generation, and generations to come. -
