Whilst public car parking is available, it is extremely limited and offered on a first come first serve basis. There are 7 disabled parking spaces which are on a first-come-first-served basis and a blue-badge must be displayed.
There is no capacity to reserve, book or pay for car parking at this venue. Therefore, all should be informed not to commute to this site via car from the outset, as this will most likely end in disappointment.
On busier days, University security will restrict access to the venue when it becomes necessary.
The closest train station is Botanic, operated by NI Railways. After arriving at Botanic, Riddel Hall is located a 20/25-minute walk through the scenic Botanic Gardens and through Stranmillis. You should pass a few Queen’s University landmarks on your way.
Riddel Hall is located on Metro bus route 8A & 8D which depart from Donegall Square East beside the City Hall and runs via Great Victoria Street, Bradbury Place, University Road and Stranmillis Road. Alight at the Ridgeway Street stop, cross the road and continue down the hill until you reach the large black gates at the entrance to Riddel Hall.
Belfast bikes are located around the city. The nearest docking station is located at the Stranmillis roundabout. Bike shelters are available at Riddel Hall.
