Deputy Managing Director, Business in the Community
Lisa leads Business in the Community’s membership and communications teams, engaging and supporting companies to make their business more sustainable. She believes business is, and should be, a force for good and led on the creation of BITC’s ground-breaking tool to help companies measure and benchmark their corporate social responsibility – CORE: The Standard for Responsible Business.
Lisa thrives on challenging and supporting businesses to be responsible and has advised hundreds of organisations on their CSR activity.
Lisa lectures on CSR, having developed and delivered programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA level. She has delivered her academic research on local, national and global platforms, and has been awarded ‘best paper’ on several occasions. She holds a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility from Queen’s University, Belfast.
In her spare time, Lisa is a trustee of Artemis Schools NI and mentors a number of upcoming CR managers. She teaches Irish traditional music, endeavours to cook, is kept busy with a young family, and likes to travel as much as possible!
