Head of Community Resilience and Wellbeing & Inclusion Programmes
Denise Cranston is responsible for leading the Communities and Wellbeing & Inclusion teams.
She has over 20 years’ experience supporting employers to develop best practice in relation to responsible business practice. In her current role she has responsibility for a diverse portfolio of programmes and services, including an extensive Employer Supported Volunteering programme, a Charity Learning Network to equip charities to partner with business, a wellbeing portfolio of training and events, and the roll out of an Age at Work programme.
Denise facilitates a number of Business in the Community Leadership Teams, working closely with senior business leaders to develop our thinking and our work on tackling a range of key social issues. She is currently working with The Executive Office on their Urban Villages programme and has led a collaborative Healthy Holidays summer programme involving business, government and the community sector to alleviate Holiday Hunger across Belfast and Derry/Londonderry.
She has led and participated in six Habitat for Humanity International Women’s build projects working in Africa, Thailand, America and more recently India in March 2017.
