Jennifer Cruickshank – Group HR & CR Manager
Jennifer joined leading construction company Henry Brothers Ltd and the wider Henry Group 20 years ago in an HR generalist role. During that time, she played a key role in the development and delivery of Group CR activities, as the company progressed to be one of the first companies in Northern Ireland to achieve Business in the Community’s CORE – the Standard for Responsible Business which they continue to hold 10 years later – an achievement which was recognised at the BITC Responsible Business Awards.
Jennifer was promoted to the role of Group HR & CR Manager in early 2017 and later that same year, led a dedicated CR Team to achieve Gold in CORE, jumping up two level from their previous level of achievement. After retaining Gold in their CORE renewal and the subsequent introduction of the new Platinum level, Jennifer once again led a CR Team to achieve Platinum in just 12 months later. She champions People and Place activities within the Henry Group which has resulted in the achievement of many prestigious business accolades for their constant pursuit of excellence in their commitment to the communities in which they operate, including for example NI Responsible Company of the Year at the BITC Responsible Business Awards in 2021 and twice Winner of the Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility at the Belfast Telegraph Business Awards.
