Liz heads BT’s Tech Literacy Programme to tackle the tech literacy paradox, moving the next generation from tech consumers to creators, building a culture where tech literacy is a cornerstone of modern education. Launched in March 2015, BT’s ambition reaches from the early years of a child’s life through to the transition to work, with target to reach 5m young people by 2020.
Liz is Chair of the Good Things Foundation, supporting digitally and socially excluded people to improve their lives through digital. he chaired a review of digital skills for the UK Government, is a member of the UK Government’s Digital Skills Partnership Board, and an active supporter of the Movement to Work employer coalition committed to tackling youth unemployment. In 2016, Liz was named in Business Cloud Magazine’s inaugural ‘100 Women Role Models of Tech’ list. She is a Board member of London Transport Museum.
