Opening Doors is an inclusive recruitment campaign that identifies five keys to unlocking employment to ensure jobs are accessible to all. It is designed to change business behaviours and provide a programme of support for businesses committed to inclusive employment.
The underrepresented groups supported through Opening Doors are:
Multigenerational Talent; Ethnically Diverse people; Refugees; Disabled people; People with convictions and people who are neurodivergent.
By signing up to the campaign, employers commit to at least one action across five key commitments within the Opening Doors Blueprint. Businesses will be provided with a programme of support, developed in consultation with a broad range of charities that support the disadvantaged groups targeted, and can avail of: BITC led webinars, Get connected events, Toolkits and Best Practice Case Studies.
Uniquely, this approach ensures organisations are supported on breadth of approach (via the blueprint) and depth (via get connected events and workshops dedicated to specific theme characteristics).
Opening Doors is open to businesses of any size and from any sector, and there is no cost to participate.
