Emma-louise Kells, Environmental Advisor | Business in the Community

Environmental Advisor

Emma-louise joined the BITC NI team in 2021 as an Environmental Advisor, responsible for challenging and supporting BITC members to address key environmental issues such as climate change, including identifying areas of need, creating and managing environmental programmes and providing training, consultancy, resources and advice for members.

Outside of work, Emma-louise continues to ignite her passion for the environment through her part-time research at QUB and she loves nothing more than getting outdoors to explore our beautiful landscape and nature, most commonly with her dog by her side. Emma-louise is also keen on travelling to explore land and cultures further afield and would describe seeing orangutans in the wilds of Borneo as living the dream.

In her spare time, Emma-louise is the leader of a youth group where she enjoys the opportunity to be creative and to support the development of the participants’ skills and confidence. Emma-louise is also a big fan of sport, playing both squash and netball competitively.

Emma-Louise is a Certified Facilitator for the Carbon Literacy Project.
