The world may still be different this Christmas, but the needs of the community continue to be higher than ever. In partnership with SPAR, we’re delighted to support Action for Children NI and The Trussell Trust this year to help them to reach those most in need.

Cares at Christmas will take place from 22 November – 8 December, and here’s how your organisation can get involved

• Organise a gift collection with colleagues
• Donate food items
• Make a donation

Action for Children NI supports vulnerable children and young people, and their families across Northern Ireland. This year, you can help these families by organising a gift collection in your organisation. We can help facilitate your organisation’s drop off to Action for Children or arrange for gifts to be collected from your premises and delivered to Action for Children.

Trussell Trust supports a network of foodbanks in Northern Ireland, and together they provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. In the last year in Northern Ireland almost 79,000 emergency food parcels were provided by food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network – and more than 31,000 of these were for children. Can you help by providing donations of food? We will provide you with a list of the Trussell Trust foodbanks, and help you select the Foodbank to support and drop off your donations to.
