Participants will share insights, discuss key barriers—including affordability, access, skills, and confidence—and explore successful initiatives and emerging challenges affecting young people, older adults, and disadvantaged communities. The session will identify opportunities for cross‑sector collaboration and help shape practical recommendations to improve digital access, skills, and participation across Northern Ireland.

The event will include an update on our ongoing research. Elizabeth Anderson, CEO of the Digital Poverty Alliance, will provide a UK-wide perspective, while Caroline Henry, Digital Inclusion Manager at Go ON NI, will outline the local context.

Roundtable discussions, chaired by Lorna McAdoo of Version 1, will further explore issues surrounding digital inclusion and digital poverty.

This event is open to members and non-members and is particularly relevant for organisations in the digital and VCSE sectors.
