We all know someone who’s not online. Perhaps it’s your mum, your gran, next door neighbour, or even your best friend. As someone who’s familiar with the web, you’ll already know about the benefits of being online. Whether it’s keeping in touch with family and friends through Facebook or Skype, saving money by shopping on eBay or Amazon, or learning to play the guitar using YouTube, being connected to the worldwide web certainly has its advantages.
Digital Learning Day is an employer supported volunteering initiative that will see business volunteers provide IT training sessions in libraries across Northern Ireland.
If you have time and want to help someone see these benefits first-hand then we want to hear from you! This is a really popular event so please do register early.
To register, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (028) 9046 0606.
