Join us for a workshop, in partnership with Belfast City Council, that will help your business to recruit, retain and retrain older workers so that you can access the benefits of a loyal and multi generational workforce.

The workforce in NI is getting older. Businesses in NI need to start thinking ahead and taking action to support older workers, to ensure future business success and viability.

The Age at Work programme, a joint project by Responsible Business Network, Business in the Community and Age NI, can help through its offer of events, networking opportunities and resources.

HR, Operations, Diversity and Inclusion, recruitment professionals and hiring managers from businesses of all sizes and sectors are invited to take part in a workshop taking place online 11:00 – 11:45 am on 15 Jan 2024, to get the support and guidance your business needs to recruit and retain older workers.

Natalie Anderson, Age at Work Programme Manager, will provide insights on how Age at Work supports businesses to recruit, retain and retrain older staff members.

Claudine Kelly, Age Friendly Coordinator from Age NI, will discuss the option of offering workplace Mid-Career Reviews as an opportunity for people over 50 to consider their career and take a look at inter-related areas of their life and where they can take action to improve financial, physical and mental wellbeing.

We will email a Teams link to you before the event. Reserve early as spaces are limited!
