The Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) launched a consultation on the draft Green Growth Strategy on behalf of the Northern Ireland Executive.  

We invite senior leaders and environmental practitioners from Business in the Community NI (BITCNI) member organisations to join us for a Member Response Workshop on 9 December 11:30 am – 12:30 am, to construct a joint response from business to the proposed new Strategy. 

At the workshop, facilitated by Business in the Community NI (BITCNI), the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) will present the consultation on the Green Growth Strategy on behalf of the Northern Ireland Executive and welcomes the views of BITCNI member organisations.  

This Green Growth Strategy sets out a vision and a framework for delivery with which all other NI government policies and strategies must align. It provides an important opportunity to embed wider climate change, a green economy and environmental considerations into decision making. 

The workshop will take place via Zoom.
