These sessions are delivered in your workplace by experts in areas of particular interest to your workforce.
We allocate a month in the year, and you choose a day and time that suits. Once confirmed, the expert provider will liaise with you directly. All you need to do is advertise the session and provide a suitable place for it to take place.
More than 63,000 people are living with cancer in NI. By 2030, this will have reached over 110,000. Almost half of us will face a cancer diagnosis during our lives. At Macmillan, we know how a diagnosis can affect everything. Life with cancer is still life, and we help people live it. Right from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, we’re a constant source of support to help people take back control of their lives and feel more like themselves again.
Macmillan provide a wide range of physical, practical, emotional, financial and social support and fund a wide range of services across Northern Ireland. Through our services, research and campaigning we are working to ensure that everyone living with cancer will receive high quality treatment and person-centered care throughout their cancer journey, regardless of where they live and what type of cancer they have.
This session will help to increase your knowledge and awareness of cancer and the impact it can have on a person’s life and work. It will also provide information on Macmillan services that can help.
