How it works
Click Book Now. Once your booking is confirmed, the facilitator will liaise with you directly to confirm a date. All you need to do is advertise the session amongst your employees and provide a suitable place for it to take place.
About this session
We are all living for longer, which means, for the majority of us, we will also be working for a greater length of time. This presents both challenges and opportunities for older workers. A Mid-Career Review is aimed at employees to take stock of where they are now and where they would like to be in later life in terms of Finance, Career, Health & Wellbeing and Work-Life Balance.
Rosie Smyth, Age NI will lead a short session which gives an overview of the content of a Mid-Career Review and the benefits for individuals and employers
The Mid Career Review is a great way for employers to invest time in their staff and the benefits to the employer are:
- Improved rates of employee retention – reducing recruitment costs
- Increased rates of older workers in training
- A more confident, motivated, loyal and productive workforce
The Mid Career Review is part of the Age at Work project funded by the National Lottery in partnership with Business in the Community.
