At this Sleep Workshop, we’ll be joined by Sleep Behaviour and Environment Expert The Sleep Geek for advice on how individuals can understand and change their sleep pattern for better rest, to improve performance at work, and to reduce absenteeism and presenteeism cause by poor sleep habits.

This webinar will help people understand who they are as a ‘sleeper’, and inform changes to their behaviours, environment and mindset that will help them get better sleep.

Recent research has shown that poor sleep costs the UK economy £40 bn a year.

Helping employees within your organisation to sleep better will improve the overall health and wellbeing of individuals in your company and be better for your business, by reducing fatigue-related absenteeism and presenteeism.

At this workshop we are joined by ‘The Sleep Geek’ James Wilson, a sleep behaviour and environment expert recognised by organisations such as BBC, NHS, Sky Sports, TV show This Morning, and many sports teams, who has, with a supporting team of other experts, developed an approach that helps people understand their sleep better, and assist them in making the changes to their mindset, behaviours and environment that can lead to better sleep, and better emotional and physical wellbeing.

Attendees will be sent a pre-workshop Sleep Questionnaire which will help you think through your own sleep patterns, and allows us to get an idea of the sleep issues organisations are facing and to ascertain what topics need to be covered in depth in the workshop.

During the last 15 minutes of this workshop there will be time for questions and space to discuss your sleep concerns with James

James Wilson, Sleep Behaviour and Environment Expert

I am James Wilson and I am a Sleep Behaviour and Environment Expert who has, with a supporting team of other experts, developed an approach that helps people understand their sleep better, and assist them in making the changes to their mindset, behaviours and environment that can lead to better sleep.

As the third generation of my family to be involved in the production of sleep products it was embarrassing to share with people that I suffered from insomnia. For as long as I could remember, I struggled to fall asleep and stay asleep. Finally, in my mid-twenties I found the drive to solve my problem and that led to me training as a practitioner to help others. I am committed to improving the quality of sleep services for poor sleepers in the UK and raising the awareness of the massive impact poor sleep has on our emotional and physical wellbeing.
