About this Event

There is an increasing requirement for Unconscious Bias awareness in the workplace, as Business Leaders and Senior Management are encouraged to monitor their business behaviour more closely.

Bringing inclusion into business development conversation is critical to securing bottom-line results. In the shift towards conscious inclusion, Walter Hegarty (Walter Hegarty Solicitors) and Superintendent Gordon McCalmont (PSNI) will outline how the impact of unconscious bias can severely challenge, and have profound effects on, management decisions. If we understand some of the many ways in which our biases can seep into our work behaviours, we may be better equipped to improve those behaviours.

The seminar content will include:

  • Unconscious bias case studies
  • Recognising biases and blockages
  • The shift to conscious inclusion
  • Enabling personal investment to create an inclusive culture
  • Q&A panel
