As part of our Diversity and Inclusion series with Danske Bank, this webinar is aimed at diversity and inclusion specialists, HR professionals and senior management teams; and will focus on how your organisation can address racism in the workplace and create a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Northern Ireland has a growing migrant community, and this is something to be celebrated and encouraged. However, the PSNI report that in 2020, there was an increase in racist attacks both online and in person but also systemic racism; and many are unreported.

Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from Lori Gatsi Barnett, an inspirational diversity and inclusion campaigner; and explore best practice solutions on key diversity and inclusion issues.

Guest speaker: Lori Gatsi Barnett, Entrepreneur and Founder of JoinHer Network.

Lori Gatsi Barnett is a business owner, social entrepreneur, motivational speaker and Founder of JoinHer Network. She lives in Belfast but was born in Harare, Zimbabwe.

She is an experienced director with demonstrated history of working in corporate and the voluntary sector; and has lived and studied in Pennsylvania, USA.

Lori has previously worked with Habitat for Humanity through a World Vision International ambassador programme, the American Red Cross and UN associated projects. She has participated in the Politics Plus Next Chapter Programme and she continues to help change the narrative and perception of the BAME communities and their contributions through diversity and inclusion.

Lori is the former Chair of HAPANI (Horn Of Africa People’s Aid), former Director of Communications for ACCCNI (African and Caribbean Chamber of Commerce Northern Ireland).
