Business leaders invited to the 2017 CEO Breakfast Forum

How responsible is your leadership, and what should your business be considering now for its future sustainability?

Business in the Community is inviting CEOs and senior business leaders from across Northern Ireland to attend the 2017 CEO Breakfast Forum on Tuesday 10 October at Ulster Bank HQ in Belfast. The event will focus on the challenges and opportunities of our ever-changing world and will explore ways to respond responsibly and sustainably. The theme this year is: The Responsibility of Leadership.

Supported by Ulster Bank, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), and The Irish News, this event provides an opportunity exclusively for CEOs and senior business leaders to meet before the working day starts to hear from a range of high profile speakers, and make connections that will benefit their business. It will delve in to the issues we are currently facing, and look at how we can develop responsible business approaches to meet future challenges.”

Kieran Harding, Managing Director of Business in the Community NI, said: “Responsible leadership is imperative at this critical time in Northern Ireland’s history. Business must not underestimate the power it has to make a real difference; the power to make Northern Ireland a better place in which to live, work and do business.

“In a period of political and economic uncertainty, and at a time when the current pace of digital technologies are radically changing the way business is done, this Forum will encourage discussion, debate and networking between business leaders to explore the question: What makes a responsible leader? We will seek to encourage those attending to think about how their business can operate in a responsible manner, and address some of our most challenging societal issues.”

Richard Donnan, Head of Ulster Bank in Northern Ireland, adds: “Last year, more than 90 business leaders attended the CEO Breakfast Forum, and we are delighted to be working with Business in the Community again this year to bring Northern Ireland’s leaders together to plan for the future. It is more important than ever that the business community works together to support customers and stakeholders in a way that benefits companies, the local economy, and society as a whole.”

The question is: Are you a good leader? Come along and find out at this year’s CEO Breakfast Forum.
