Countdown is on for final entries for Coca-Cola Thank You Fund

Community Groups urged to apply for €100k Fund ahead of deadline

The Coca-Cola Thank You Fund has teamed up with YouthAction NI and campaign ambassador Pete Snodden to host a workshop informing youth and community groups about how to apply , ahead of the 14 July 2017 deadline.

This year, €100,000*, approximately £85,000**, will be made available in grants to non-profit and community groups for projects that inspire and support young people. Programmes are sought which align with bridging the divide between education and the workplace; fostering diversity and inclusion among young people; or empowering young people to become the leaders of the future.

Pete Snodden, who participated in the workshop, said, “We’re thrilled with the turn out today. It’s great to see so many groups eager to make a positive change in their communities. The funding from Coca-Cola could mean the world to one of these groups so I am really encouraging people to apply before 14 July. It’s an opportunity not to be missed!”

Previous recipients of €10,000 grants in Northern Ireland have included Co-operation Ireland from Belfast for its Legacy Youth Leadership Programme, and the Drake Music Project from Newry who facilitate music workshops for young people with disabilities.
