Cleaver Fulton Rankin has published its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report. The Report is the second edition to be released by the Company and highlights the activities undertaken by its team members in developing and driving forward CSR initiatives in the Company.

Cleaver Fulton Rankin launches Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Cleaver Fulton Rankin has published its annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report. The Report is the second edition to be released by the Company and highlights the activities undertaken by its team members in developing and driving forward CSR initiatives in the Company.

“As a leading commercial law firm in Northern Ireland, being a responsible business is top of our agenda,” said Jonathan Forrester, Managing Director of Cleaver Fulton Rankin.

“Our culture, actions and outputs help us play a positive role in our local community and I am delighted to share our annual report, which clearly demonstrates our commitment to conducting our business responsibly.”

The Report details the milestones Cleaver Fulton Rankin achieved in 2019 in respect of the environment, their people, their clients and their local community. Some highlights are outlined below:-

  • Reducing our impact on the environment

In 2019 the Company reduced the amount of waste it sent to landfill by 10% compared to the previous year and by working with similarly responsible suppliers the Company is now using 35% renewable energy within the business.

  • Supporting and developing our people;

The Company places particular emphasis upon developing its team members. The Company launched a new bespoke KPI framework providing each individual with a transparent understanding of their progress and achievements. The Company also implemented health and well-being campaigns and mental health awareness initiatives. These positive people management practices helped the Company surpass all of the Investors in People legal industry benchmarks in 2019.

  • Providing the best service for our clients

The team at Cleaver Fulton Rankin delivered 16 free seminars and workshops to over 500 business people in our local community and undertook 858 hours of continued professional development, ensuring clients benefited from our knowledge and expertise throughout a range of industry sectors.

The Company is proud to announce that 26 of their team members received Dementia-friendly training so that any clients living with dementia can feel at ease when speaking with them about their legal issues.

  • Giving back to our local community.

The Company is helping young people realise their potential through work experience opportunities, trainee solicitor programmes and partnerships with local organisations, such as Business in the Community. Throughout the year, the Company supported 17 local charities and schools by volunteering 350 hours to education and fundraising activities.
