What Firstsource Solutions did:

  • Rolled out a Mental Health Toolkit to staff to help recognise and support staff who may be showing signs of depression
  • Supporting a wide range of local and national charities each year
  • Supporting fundraising activities for members of staff and their friends/family
  • Raising awareness of our Diversity & Inclusion activities
  • Delivering biodiversity projects in response to key environmental issues
  • Supporting local schools/pupils in preparation for their careers

Key outcomes of the actions

  • Trained 500+ employees on the Mental health Toolkit (1 &2) in UK with accredited Mental Health Training to begin in March 2018
  • Raising on average £28,500 a year for local and national charities across the UK
  • Raising over £5,000 for Altnagelvin Neonatal Unit
  • Showcasing our support for Equality through involvement in Belfast Pride and client LGBT campaigns
  • Trained 2 employees and distributed 5,000 packets of wildflower seeds on beekeeping as part of our biodiversity project
  • Engaging with 12 schools as part of the Schools Business Partnership
