Alongside its 150-year history, the Belfast site is a well-known local employer for over 170 people. It has a strong reputation for its manufacturing of quality printed packaging products for leading global brands.
What Multi Packaging Solutions did
On the back of a hugely successful partnership with Newtownabbey Community High School through Business in the Community’s Business Class programme, Multi Packaging Solutions decided to explore another partnership with Ballyclare Secondary School. In order to ensure meaningful and proactive engagement, STEM subject promotion and attendance were identified as the main focus areas of the partnership.
Multi Packaging Solutions has supported these activities and many more at the school with employees from all avenues of the business getting involved with all ages of children within the school. Activities have included supporting open nights to preparing school leavers for employment.
