The Consumer Council raise funds for NHS scrubs

The Consumer Council is raising money to buy fabric that will be stitched into scrubs for frontline NHS staff.

Members of staff at The Consumer Council have been running, cycling and walking to help raise money for the Search for Scrubs Fabric Fund, to help this team of Northern Ireland ‘stitchers’ to  buy fabric that will be used to create scrubs for frontline NHS staff.

This fundraising initiative has also promoted a positive approach to mental and physical wellbeing, as staff members have been taking part in regular exercise. Participants have been sharing stories with their colleagues and on social media to boost morale and raise awareness for the cause.

To date over  £1000 has been raised through donations from staff, Board members, stakeholders and members of the public.
