At Danske Bank, we are dedicated to minimising our environmental footprint. This commitment involves actively reducing our emissions and enhancing our sustainable practices. Additionally, we recognise the importance of guiding our business customers on their paths to climate action. Supporting them in this journey is not only necessary but fundamental to our sustainability strategy.

What Danske Bank did

Danske Bank will have supported approximately 200 customers to undertake BITC’s Climate Action Programme. This has allowed corporate and business customers embark on a four-month programme to kick-start their climate-transition journey.

Impacts and outcomes

The support and education provided through the Climate Action Programme has enabled our customers to:

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the climate crisis and recognise the significant impact their business has
• Assess and establish a baseline for their organisation’s emissions footprint
• Formulate and implement strategies to minimise the emissions generated by their operations
