Gilbert-Ash, Belfast Harbour and STEM Aware work in partnership with Belfast schools to raise awareness of the wide range of exciting careers available within the construction industry.
The initiative demonstrates how new technologies that the students are familiar with are being incorporated into a work environment.
Schools that have taken part so far include Aquinas Grammar, Malone Integrated College, Mitchell House School, St Malachy’s College, Methodist College, Bloomfield Collegiate and St Dominic’s College.
Due to the level of interest from schools, Gilbert-Ash continue to promote Minecraft in schools to provide students with an insight into the design and build process of construction.
