Joined Citi in July 2007 after 6 years working part-time in the general insurance industry. Law graduate of Queens University, Belfast. Qualified as New York attorney in January 2007 and then later also qualified as an English solicitor in 2011 whilst working at Citi.
Site lead of the Citi Belfast Legal department and chair of the Legal Management Committee in Belfast.
Co-head of the Belfast Markets Legal team. Trusted advisor to the OTC derivatives businesses on matters related to master agreement trading documentation and negotiation. Day to day role involves management of managers, collaboration with cross-region heads, re-engineering of processes, implementation of regulatory change, strategic planning with a focus on improving productivity and the continued development of our people. Awarded the Citi EMEA CEO i ‘Excellence in EMEA’ Award, for leadership of Markets Legal team towards meeting the uncleared margin regulatory deadline in March 2017.
Chair of the Belfast CSR Steering Committee which sets Belfast Corporate Social Responsibility policies, ensures governance and helps implement them through volunteering and fundraising activities.Winner of the Business in the Community Sieff Award 2013 for Northern Ireland.
