What does a typical day or week in your role look like?
I work across the construction value chain, with companies who manufacture building products, construction companies using those products to build schools, hotels and hospitals and the design teams who design the buildings. I have nature that all companies are adopting low carbon, energy efficient practices in their manufacture, design and construction.
What part of your job do you find most interesting or exciting?
Seeing a project going from a drawing to a 3D model to being built on site.
What advice would you give to pupils who are interested in a career in sustainability?
Every job role will have a sustainability aspect because every industry has to transition to low carbon so don’t panic, there is a world of opportunity open to you!
