Group Sustainability and Quality Manager, Henry Brothers Limited

Having graduated from Queens with Masters in Sustainable Leadership (MSc) following an Undergrad in Environmental Management BSc (Hons), Deborah joined Henry Brothers to complete a research paper for their flagship project on ‘Greening the Supply Chain’. Since then, Deborah has spent the last 7 years working with Henry Brothers in Environmental Sustainability and Quality Management, where she now leads a team of Advisors delivering regional compliance and support for Net Zero, Sustainability and Quality throughout NI, England, and Scotland. As a Team, they have enjoyed many successes in winning awards such as the Belfast Telegraph Award for Outstanding Commitment to Climate Action and more recently, Best Sustainable Business SME at the Irish News Awards.

We have delivered our biggest commitment yet, to halve our emissions by 2030 and to be Net Zero by 2050. The Strategy combined with our business ESG function, delivers the strategic planning direction for the business, from covering supply chain management to delivering meaningful engagement with the local communities we operate in. Deborah is currently a PIEMA Practitioner, working towards her Environmental Chartership with the Institute and is a part of the Construct Zero steering group with the CEF and the Construction Leadership Council.
