Northern Ireland's Green Giants - Art Competition | BITC NI

To mark the opening of the 2021 NI Environmental Benchmarking Survey and to remind everyone of their role in taking care of our planet, we’re asking primary school pupils to get creative and create their own green giants!

Just like the legend of the Giant’s Causeway when Finn McCool and Benandonner challenged each other to see who was the strongest giant, we want children to create a Green Giant who will take on the big challenge of protecting the environment and show us ways to help save our planet. Children can draw, paint or make a 3D green giant using recycled household materials, such as toilet rolls, cartons or cardboard.

Entrants have the chance to win a £20 voucher for themselves and a £100 voucher for their school, to be used at a garden centre of their choice, thanks for competition sponsor Moy Park.

There are two categories, P1 to P3 and P4 to P7, and a winner will be chosen from each.

The winning artwork will be shared across our social media channels.
