The Age-Inclusive Learning Network brings together a small number of business professionals to share best practice and learning, and to receive expert advice and guidance from Diversity & Inclusion specialists on topics related to age-inclusion, to help support the development of a multigenerational workplace.

The Age-Inclusive Learning Network supports HR, Diversity & Inclusion, and Health & Wellbeing professionals from organisations of all sizes and from all sectors in NI to develop age-inclusive action plans that address key issues for people over 50 in the workplace – a key part of any wellbeing and/or D&I strategy.

The Network meets over five two-hour long session that will focus on: menopause; mental and physical health; pensions and savings; and retirement planning.
Through joining the Network, participants benefit from: one-to-one consultancy; networking; profiling opportunities; and gain access to best practice speakers.

The Network concludes with a Showcase & Celebration Event, and participants will become part of the Learning Network Alumni, benefiting from two exclusive networking events each year.

Session dates are subject to change and will be confirmed in advance of the first session.

Please note, each participating organisation:

  • Must complete the Age-Inclusive Business Audit in advance of participating in the Network. The Audit is self-assessment tool to help businesses identify gaps in relation to being an age-inclusive and age-friendly employer.
  • Can avail of two one-to-one consultancy sessions
  • Can appoint up to two colleagues to take part in the Network

The Age-Inclusive Learning Network is part of the Age at Work programme, delivered by Business in the Community and Age NI, and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.
