As a funded initiative, Career Connect is open to both members and non‑members of Business in the Community. There is no cost to participate.
Career Connect will run a series of webinars and workshops from 30 April 2026 – 31 March 2027.
Become a Programme Partner NO financial contributions are required. By becoming a Programme Partner, we ask organisations to:
- Have at least one member of your team attend the Employee Training Webinar (3 date options available)
- Offer volunteering opportunities for your team members to join us for workshops with young people covering one of the facilitated sessions: CV Writing & Interview Skills, or Navigating the Workplace & Managing a Budget
- Have at least one member of your team attend the two-hour Speed Networking sessions in each of our three locations – Belfast, North West, Fermanagh (this does not need to be the same person)
- Feature on our online hub– contribute an employee profile, or information about early career pathways in your business. This will be a valuable resource for young people to discover more about early career pathways and to find helpful hints and tips about the workplace.
- Participate in offering work experience opportunities – 1/2 day, 1 – 3 days. BITC will provide additional support on how to run a great work experience session.
In volunteering to become a Career Connect Programme Partner, at no-cost, your organisation will be able to access:
- Training for your staff on how to be a supportive employer of care-experienced individuals.
- Opportunities for profiling on our programme’s social media/online spaces.
- Certificate/digital badge to celebrate the time volunteered to the Career Connect programme**
Please note, all Career Connect opportunities are open to any organisation. Your organisation does not need to be a BITC member to partake in this programme.
Join us as we support a group of 20 young people to create a CV and prepare for interviews. 3 places available. You can attend for one hour or two hours.
