Call for local charities as Learning Pool pledges 3500 hours of voluntary support in a single day

Learning Pool, a strategic leader in global e-learning, today announces its most ambitious community support initiative yet, planning for its entire workforce to volunteer in the community.

On Thursday 18th May 2023, business as usual will be paused, as the entire Learning Pool team will go into the community to support charitable and environmental activities, in an effort it’s calling ‘Learning Pooloza’. Not-for-profit groups, social enterprises and educational organisations are now invited to register interest in taking part in this initiative.

This focused business action means that Learning Pool will contribute more than 3,500 volunteer hours in a single day, aiming for an extraordinary impact in the communities where its 450+ people live and work. The company has teams of specialists who can support specific challenges many charities face in important areas like technology, human resources, marketing, branding and, of course, learning and development.

Speaking about the initiative, Learning Pool CEO Ben Betts said, “Making a difference in our communities has always been part of our culture. We’re transforming how we support non-for-profit organisations as we aim to become a long-term strategic  partner for the charities we support. Our CSR day in May is the first step in this. We know the most valuable asset we can invest is time and hope that our commitment here can help charitable organisations deliver extraordinary outcomes on Learning Poolooza and beyond”.

If you’re a non-profit organisation and would like help from Learning Pool and its team on 18th May, get in touch by registering your interest today. The company has main offices in Derry, Nottingham, Oxford, Belfast, New York, Boston and Zurich and remote workers spread across North America and the UK, so all charities are encouraged to apply.
