Employees of Citi Belfast are taking action to support key workers, people and communities affected by Covid-19 by making donations to The Trussell Trust and The Community Foundation Northern Ireland.

Employee donations will be matched by Citi UK – up to a maximum of £50,000 – and donated to both charitable organisations, on top of two direct donations of £10,000 from Citi. 

The Trussell Trust is a network of foodbanks that provide emergency food and support to people in crisis. Employee donations to this organisation – currently at over £8600 on JustGiving – will be matched by Citi UK and donated to the Trust which works to combat poverty and hunger in the UK, and supports the South Belfast Food Bank and other food banks in Northern Ireland.

Citi has also made a donation of £10,000 to The Community Foundation Northern Ireland and employees can opt to donate one hour of their monthly salary to the Foundation, with the donation being matched by Citi.
