DANSKE BANK MAKES FLAGSHIP EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME FREE DURING COVID-19

To help parents with home schooling during the coronavirus pandemic, Danske Bank’s SMART Junior educational resources are now available to download for FREE.

Aimed at children from P1 – P7, SMART Junior is Danske Bank’s flagship educational outreach programme for school children. It aims to support children and young people in becoming financially confident.

SMART Junior introduces the topic of money to Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils. Through interactive presentations and associated activities, children can learn about what money is, where it comes from, how they can earn it, how to prioritise spending and the importance of saving.

Danske Bank believes that if children and young people are encouraged and supported to learn about money and personal finance from an early age, it will help them make better choices in life. Engaging children and youth in conversations about money is more important than ever.
