#ProtectThePlanet picture competition for kids

BITC is asking your little ones to get creative and draw, paint or make a picture that shows us ways that everyone can step up to protect the planet. Deadline for entries 4 June.

The Northern Ireland Environmental Benchmarking Survey is now open for submissions and widely recognised as NI’s principle environmental benchmarking exercise.

The Survey helps organisations identify their environmental impacts to drive improvement and demonstrate their commitment to better environmental practice.

To help us spread the word that the Survey is open and to remind everyone to take care of our planet, we’re asking your little ones that are home-schooling to get creative and draw, paint or make a picture that shows us ways that everyone can step up to protect the planet – with the chance for the winner to receive a £20 voucher for themselves and a £100 voucher for their school, to be used at a local garden centre of your choice.

There are two categories, P1 to P3 and P4 to P7, and a winner will be chosen from each.

Need some ideas?

Creations could encourage others to re-use and recycle waste, take their bike to the supermarket instead of the car, or plant some wildflowers to encourage bees and insects into the garden.
